Cancellation Policy

Refund/Cancellation
An event can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance of your rental. For cancellations within 24 hours of rental, renters are subject to 100% of their quoted rental fee.

In the event that the City of Kitchener requires 44 Gaukel to stop operations, all bookings for the
duration of the closure will be cancelled without penalty.

In the event that a renter or one of their clients tests positive for COIVD-19, all bookings going forward
can be cancelled without penalty.

How does Parking Work at 44 Gaukel?

44 Gaukel sits beside the Charles St West Lot 15 which is operated by the City of Kitchener. Please see the City of Kitchener lot page for up-to-date details on prices, hours of operation and more.

There is some on-street parking available near 44 Gaukel, see here. On-street parking is regulated by the City of Kitchener and can change at any time.

How will I Access My Rental at 44 Gaukel?

All recurring renters receive a swipe card to enter the building and a key if required to enter the space you are renting. If you are renting Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. you do not require a swipe card or a key, as ABO staff will let you into the space.

Where do I Return my Swipe Card After my Rental is Over?

Please place your swipe card and key into the second-floor key dropbox located outside of the Rehearsal Space door.

Is there Storage Space for Me to Leave Items?

No, you are responsible for bringing any equipment you may need but there is no storage on site. Renters are expected to remove all items from the space after each booking.
