The O Gallery @ 44 Gaukel was created to provide public exhibition space for emerging and community artists in the City of Kitchener. A joint project of ArtsBuild Ontario, the City of Kitchener and supported by our co-tenant the Accelerator Centre, the O Gallery @ 44 Gaukel offers a flexible space open to most artistic media and artists of all ages and experience.

The O Gallery @ 44 Gaukel offers just over 235’ of hallway wall space with both a shelf and hanging system for a diverse display of artwork.

Kitchener’s first and only arts and technology hub, 44 Gaukel is home to 15 companies and creative organizations and over 65 employees. The building is frequented by community members through two rentable community spaces and events. The O Gallery @ 44 Gaukel is open to the public 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. The space can be opened on weekends provided the exhibiting party staffs the front desk.

The O Gallery @ 44 Gaukel is available for three or  six month exhibitions by solo artists, collectives or community groups. Interested groups may apply to exhibit through a call for proposals.
