|The latest developments as of today from the Region of Waterloo and the City of Kitchener has called for the public closure of all municipal cultural and recreational facilities from Monday, March 16 to Friday, April 5, 2020 with the possibility of extension.|
Unfortunately this means that as of Monday, March 16 to Friday, April 5, no rentals at 44 Gaukel will take place. Any rental that has been booked during this time will be cancelled – please note that no cancellation fees will apply. This also means that ABO will not be able to accept any new bookings that would take place between March 16 to April 5.
If you have a rental booking during this time, Tyler Woodward, Program & Communications Coordinator, will be in touch in the coming days to confirm cancellations and reschedule bookings.
Tenants will still be able to use 44 Gaukel for regular work activities, excluding any public programming or gatherings. The doors will be locked to the public effective Monday, March 16; however you will still have access via your swipe card.
ABO staff will be working remotely for the next three weeks. We will come to the building periodically for operational check-ins, but the best way to reach is by email.
